What's the route of your ship?

You're inside a ship. The ship sails forward, never giving the slightest of breaks. The waves of the ocean are sometimes furious and wild, and at other times, they're as calm as a cat that's full and asleep. You don't see a shore at a visible distance, but have a compass and a map in your hand. You make precise calculations and locate yourself on the map and choose a destination to eventually reach a shore.
Okay, I'm getting into the topic. Life is like an ocean, and you are like a ship. You are sailing non-stop in the ocean of life. You must have an aim and a goal in life to reach somewhere. If not, just like a ship without a route, you'll drown in the endless ocean and when you're white and grey and full of sleep, you'll be preoccupied with some regretful thoughts. Your goal in life will pave your path to your destination and lead you to a safe shore. Set achievable goals and keep raising them as you achieve. NEVER fall into the regret pithole.

A common technique many psychologists and life coaches suggest is visualization. You have to imagine yourself in a position you want to be in when you are around 40 years old. That imagination of yourself will apparently prompt you to do something to realize that dream. But when we are talking about imagining and dreaming, we aren't simply talking about lying down and thinking of being rich. Do you want to be the head of a law firm? Cure cancer? Make the biggest development in A.I.? Imagine yourself in that specific position, and be willing to go through the steps one by one, to reach your aim. You can't cure cancer playing 6 hours of PUBG everyday. If you don't like working towards curing cancer, curing cancer won't satisfy you enough. Push your limits everyday. I hear you saying, "Hey, this stuff you are talking about is good and all but do you realize that it's really difficult to implement?" Yes, you are absolutely right. That's the reason not everybody can achieve huge things.

So, what's the route of your ship? Do you have a route? Are you following your route? Don't forget, if you don't follow the route you choose, it's not the responsibility of the route if you don't reach your destination.
